- Specific oversight over grain storage, milling, mashing, fermentation, distillation, cutting proof of high wines, new barrel management, filling barrels, equipment maintenance, facilities care and cleaning, and all associated activities.- Up to date, accurate, and detailed record keeping of all relevant production activity in the Distill X 5 software, company spreadsheets, and any other record keeping tools that may be required by the Head distiller and production manager.- Up to date and accurate inventory tracking of raw materials and supplies.- Ordering, receiving, and organizing of department specific raw materials and supplies. (grains, yeast, enzymes, etc.)- Daily communication with the head distiller regarding goals, tasks, and quality control, both in person as well as communication and progress tracking through tools such as email and other tools.- Clear communication of above goals, tasks, and quality control to the assistant distillers under my guidance, as well as following up to ensure these are accomplished with excellence by the assistant distillers.- Meeting deadlines and delivering on production goals set forth by the head distiller.- Scheduling of the assistant distillers that are under my guidance. - Maintaining consistent and high quality mashes, fermentations, and distillations.- Maintaining equipment and keeping git in excellent working order.- Maintaining a clean working environment and department, as well as assisting in the cleaning of the entire production facility.- Thoroughly training assistant distillers on all the new necessary equipment and processes specific to the department SOPs.- Writing and submitting and new SOPs to the head distiller.-Enforcing the safe operation of equipment by assistant distillers.- Assisting the head distiller in facilitating a safe, efficient, enjoyable, and respectful atmosphere and work environment.

1. Repairs, cables, fertilizes, waters, and prunes trees and other woody plants; removes dead, diseased or declining trees and woody plants.2. Plants and transplants woody plants to include hole preparation, backfilling, staking, pruning, watering, and mulching.3. Recognizes disease and insect problems of trees and woody plants and applies appropriate treatments.4. May assist in various maintenance activities as required.5. Maintains records of work performed.6. May lead, guide, and train staff/student employees, interns, and/or volunteers performing related work; may participate in the recruitment of volunteers, as appropriate to the area of operation.7.
