While school is in session, I serve as a student worker in the Public Relations Department at College of the Ozarks. This position has given me the opportunity refine a broad range of communication skills through hands-on experience. Responsibilities include press release creation, social media content creation, conducting VIP interviews, writing newsletter and magazine stories, photography, and even leading large tour groups throughout the historic College of the Ozarks campus.

Their mission is to enhance, encourage, and promote the current and future well-being of the people of Colorado. This mission is achieved through El Pomar Foundaton programs, including Regional Partnerships, Elevating Leadership Development, El Pomar Fellowship, and El Pomar Internship. As a Communications Intern with El Pomar Foundation, I received hands-on experience drafting social media content, developing and distributing press releases, developing and designing newsletters, writing blogs, attending Foundation events and council meetings, pulling Communications analytics, and more.
