About Micah Steele
I am currently an architectural engineering student at the University of Kansas, set to graduate in May 2024. I have explored several different career path options, but am excited to say I have decided to pursue lighting design. I love the idea of combining my interest in design with my interest in problem solving and math, and I am so excited to apply what I have learned in school about daylighting and electric light integration to my career. I will be returning to KU in the Fall of 2024 to earn my master's degree in architectural engineering with an emphasis in lighting design, and am planning to graduate with that masters in May 2025.
