- Coordinate and create/revise existing maps and GIS data relative to county projects. Examine, collect, and incorporate data from a variety of sources, both digital and hard copy to ensure completeness and accuracy. Oversee and coordinate the building, maintaining and updating of databases using GIS and related software. Develop and maintain links between various databases.- Oversee Information Technology Department staff and functions.- Develop strategic plan of county information technology initiatives including research, feasibility, infrastructure, budget and survey.- Provide technical support and IT trouble-shooting for county employees and vendors. - Act as a technology resource for County Departments and the Board of Supervisors.
