Fundraising: I oversee Maryhurst’s fundraising strategy and provide support to the Vice President of Development and the Development Team in achieving annual philanthropic goals. Under my leadership, we have increased our annual fundraising totals from $1.9 million to $3.9 million between 2019 and 2024 while growing the team from 5 members to 11.Marketing and Communications: I oversee the agency’s marketing and communications function to ensure that the right investments are being made to achieve our goals in relation to external and internal communications and public relations. Advocacy and Government Relations: I lead the development and execution of an advocacy and government relations strategy focused on ensuring strong relations with elected officials, government partners, and securing resources related to fulfilling the agency’s mission. Since 2022, this has resulted in over $9 million in additional statutory funding to support our mission.Community Relations: I lead the agency in community relations activities including the development of strategic program partnerships. I have led in the development of numerous new partnerships resulting in increased impact as well as millions of dollars in new revenue.Strategic Planning: I lead the management of our strategic planning process for an agency of 300 staff, a complex continuum of services and thousands of community stakeholders. In 2023 I led efforts to develop a new strategic framework for our agency that is now being successfully implemented across the organization. Board Relations: Working closely with Board leaders and the CEO, I provide leadership and guidance on key projects to ensure that we are maximizing the skills, resources, and networks of board members to further Maryhurst’s mission.

- Responsible for team of 8 professionals managing the external relations function for Kentucky's oldest child welfare non-profit organization - Raising over $2.75 million in philanthropic and governmental support for the agency annually- Overseeing marketing and PR efforts for a state-wide agency- Overseeing over 200 volunteers who contribute 2,000+ hours valued at almost $100,000 annually to impact our mission- Prospecting, on-boarding and supporting the board of directors- Leads on advocacy and awareness efforts at the state and local level- Executive sponsor of Maryhurst's diversity, equity and inclusion strategic imperative leading to unprecedented investment and engagement in this space- Partners with programmatic leadership to design tactics and solutions to drive our strategic plan

My role was to help build and manage a sustainable, 7 figure annual fundraising plan to support Family & Chlidren's Place's mission to protect and heal children in our community. As part of my role I:- Co-managed a 3-year comprehensive campaign to raise an additional $7,000,000 to support the agency's long-term sustainability by 2020- Led a team of 5 colleagues to execute a 500 person fundraising breakfast to raise approximately $160,000 of unrestricted funds for the agency each each year.- Managed high value (5 and 6 figure) corporate and foundation relations- Managed a comprehensive donor communications plan to actively steward our support base. - Alongside the board of directors and senior management team, helped the organization identify and solicit new board members for the agency- Represented Family & Children's Place on collaborative community wide working groups made up of private, governmental, and social sector agency leaders

My primary role was developing a sustainable income stream for the museum through monetizing the beautiful space for external events. Through this role, I developed a marketing campaign, built relationships with top corporate and private event planners in the New York area, and managed events directly ranging from 1,000 people to 40 people.

During my tenure at Back Up I:- Managed and developed all of Back Up's corporate supporters, increasing total income by approximately 70% from 2010 - 2013. - Led the fundraising team on new business development, successfully cultivating a range of new donors which benefited a range of funding streams.- Planned and executed a number of successful cultivation events, such as drinks receptions and dinners across the UK. - Recruited and managed a number of effective volunteer committees across our company support base. - Managed the Fundraising team's broad communications strategy.

As a student at King's College, University of London I managed a team of undergraduate students in planning and promoting entrpreneurship related events including the school's first ever Undergraduate Business Plan Competition.

Planned and coordinated local events. Independently developed and managed the Louisville Event Resource Guide, an annual publication focused on supporting local events. Also acted as the Vendor Liason, communicating with and coordinating vendors for many official city events.

Conducted various administrative duties as well as acting as the vendor coordinator for one of the biggest annual international festivals in the US.

Developed and oversaw the curriculum for an English Conversation program at a Teacher Training College in Strasbourg, France. Duties included developing and executing lesson plans, experimenting using technology and the internet specifically to aid in English education, and preparing students to take various proficiency exams.

Various duties included lesson planning, team teaching, attending various industry realted conferences, training new language assistants, and acting as a foreign ambassdor to local and regional authorities. I also acted as one of the driving forces to help institute radical changes to an outdated and inefficient English education system.
