As a fullstack developer working with the technology team for Scotiabank's trade floor, I developed web applications that help optimize the work flow of the bank's top revenue-generating business line. Programs were developed full stack, with C# in the backend and HTML, CSS, and JavaScript on the frontend. Data was accessed and modified using SQL.

Guided the club through numerous changes as club activities moved online for the pandemic alongside fellow co-president Brady Park. Steered the club to focus on online educational campaigns that leverage social media tools such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok to best reach the target stem cell donor demographic of individuals between the ages of 17-35. Founded a Web Development committee in the club to invest in an impactful and lasting online presence for the club, with better and more user-friendly access to resources on stem cell donation.

Developed a pipeline using Perl for creating machine learning models to predict patient response to anticancer therapeutics. Utilized data visualization strategies to uncover trends in the data and to present findings in a user-friendly manner using JavaScript libraries.

Acted as a liaison between the executive team and the general members of the club.

Fostered relationships with other campus organizations as well as within the greater London community to host joint events, with the aim of increasing knowledge of the need for stem cell donation and recruiting stem cell donors. Worked with the family, friends, and student groups closely affiliated with a student who was diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia and in need of a stem cell donation to run a successful campaign resulting in the registration of over 700 members of the Western community as stem cell donors.

Responsible for creating promotional material for stem cell drives and other club events, as well as educational material to increase public knowledge about stem cell donation as well as the need for stem cell donation, especially among ethnic minority communities.

Worked alongside a post-doctorate fellow on an ongoing project using machine learning to design antibodies in silico for potential pharmaceutical use. Wrote Python scripts that automated the data mining of information about antibodies available on public databases and used this information in methods to increase the efficiency of the antibody design process.

Worked under a program that empowers students with physical and mental disabilities through skiing lessons. Taught both in groups and one-on-one with students requiring additional support and created a welcoming and supportive environment for the special needs student(s) to learn how to ski and participate in the school outing. Enhanced student experience and fostered a love for the sport while building student self-confidence, by developing meaningful connections with students while maintaining updated records regarding student’s progress to personalize the student's curriculum as they progressed.

Guided incoming surgical patients and their families through the admittance process in a reassuring manner that promoted a safe and relaxed environment. One major responsibility was to attend to the comfort of patients in post-surgery and staying attentive to their state to alert nurses if necessary. Also directed visiting friends and family, answering questions and keeping them informed and performed administrative tasks for the nurses and doctors precisely and efficiently.
