As an industrial designer specializing in product visualization, I believe the highest value of design is in its ability to explore user's stories for insights & deliver tailored products and services back to them. Communicating with and understanding stakeholders is essential for the design process. I love to ideate & develop concepts around unique user issues, and creating insightful illustrations for product development. Beyond that, sustainable product design and design thinking are areas that I’m curious about. With a BS in Industrial Design, I learned that as designers we have to remove our own biases (often unrealized) from the picture and let user stories drive our process. While studying abroad in the Netherlands, I experienced design from an international research perspective on topics such as interaction design, play theory, and user methods. I’ve leveraged my experiences developing creative techniques for a variety of projects over the past couple years, including illustrations for small nonprofits and online editorials, and most recently have been asked to execute a mural for a small business. I’ve been an avid runner for over 10 years now, and have come to know that Atlanta is an amazing pace for runners. Currently, I get to help other runners and fitness enthusiasts find the right solutions to aid them in their active lifestyle. Listening to other's challenges and working in collaboration, I enjoy exploring potential solutions and getting to the root of people's needs. I’m working toward leveraging these skills and experiences to design tailored products and services.
