About Michael Chase
I am a recent global change master’s student with an undergraduate background in animal biology and environmental science. My main interests are in biodiversity and habitat conservation, sustainable development, and the creation and enforcement of effective environmental policy.Having completed my master's thesis and all requirements for my degree, I now aim to join a team focused on biodiversity and habitat conservation. With experience as a researcher across several scientific fields, I have a detail orientated and diligent approach to work. I function well individually and in close collaboration settings. Working as a conservation program coordinator in a non-profit NGO has also led to me curating a strong inventory of management skills early in my career.I firmly believe that through international cooperation and inclusive conversations of all people, conservation still can and will save the Earth’s species, habitats, and the critical services they provide.
