- The Reserve Counterpart (IMA) for the Chief Physician Assistant Consultant to the Air Force Surgeon General. September 2013 to September 2014- The Air Force Reserve Senior Leader for the Physician Assistant career field. September 2013 to September 2014- Chief of Clinical Services for the 445th Aerospace Medicine Squadron, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. 2008-2013- Physician Assistant, 445th Aerospace Medicine Squadron, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. May 1995 to September 2013- Deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, September 2004 to January 2005, assigned to the 332nd Air Force Theater Hospital; the first Air Force Physician Assistant assigned to the facility. Practiced combat trauma medicine in the emergency room of this large tent facility at the beginning of the war in Iraq and during the peak of casualties, including the battle of Fallujah. - Extensive experience in planning and performing humanitarian medical missions including, Honduras, Guatemala, Panama, Chad, Niger, Appalachia, and the Blackfeet Indian Reservation in Browning Montana. Summary of duties:I served as the Reserve counterpart and Individual Mobilization Augmentee to the Chief Physician Assistant of the Air Force (Chief Consultant, Physician Assistant, to the Air Force Surgeon General). This officer is dual-hatted as an Associate Chief, Biomedical Sciences Corps. I assisted and advised, provided a Reserve perspective, and prepared to back-fill that position in case of mobilization. In addition, I served as the Air Force Reserve Command Biomedical Sciences Corps, Senior Leader, Physician Assistant, mentored Air Force PA's and reviewed officer records for career vectoring during the annual Development Team board.Prior to my assignment to this position, I served as Chief of Clinical Services for the 445th Aerospace Medicine Squadron, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
