Current• Responsible for seven buildings on the Main Campus, providing monitoring, adjusting and break-fix of HVAC equipment, which include, 750 Ton York chillers, Trane chillers, Cleaver-Brooks high pressure steam boilers, Two and One Cell Cooling Towers, Air Handlers, Univents and Water Source Heat Pumps.• High Pressure Steam Boilers and DA tank, Water Treatment implementation and analysis – Developed a strategy to chemically treat Make Up water and maintain equipment, which led to increased efficiency and run time.• Reprogrammed Honeywell BAS system to adjust cooling and heating parameters, to accommodate schedule adjustments and resolve issues with environment temperature instabilities.• Business Management Center – Maintained and repaired two Trane chillers and several VAV’s and, reprogrammed entire system via Honeywell BAS, to restore operations in the center.• Career Business Institute – Reconfigured electric heaters and WSHP’s to remove erratic temperature fluctuations, using Automated Logic’s WebCTRL BAS.• West Philadelphia Regional Campus – Due to a high equipment failure rate and increased complaints to the President, I was assigned the new resident engineer, to provide stability and problem resolution. Developed a project plan, communicated closely with the Regional Executive and, within a month stabilized the building. This was accomplished by proactivity, maintenance best practices and adjusting all univents, baseboard heating, lighting and, boiler controls, largely with Honeywell BAS. The Regional Executive provided high praise to the president of the college for my efforts.• New Career Advanced Technology Regional Center – Tasked with addressing all HVAC configuration and performance issues. Developed and implemented a project plan to effect repairs and stabilize Samsung VRF DVMS System, with ERV’s and RTU’s. Reprogramed and enhanced efficiency of all VRF’s, utilizing HCT Control Technology BAS.
Stationary Engineer (Volunteer Assistant)
• Assisted in the operation, preventative maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment throughout the campus. This included Centrifugal chillers, fans, pumps, heat exchangers, compressors, air handlers, automatic temperature controls for HVAC equipment, boilers and steam operated equipment.
