Planning Manager Responsibilities: Leading materials planning team and manage work flow inside department.Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.Arrange for delivery, assembly, and distribution of supplies and parts in order to expedite flow of materials and meet production schedules.Record production data, including volume produced,consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures.Review documents such as purchasing schedules, work orders,production schedules to determine material priorities.Revise production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, marketing, sales, production, and engineering.Approve and check POs to cover production requirements Plan production & purchasing commitments and timetables for business units,specific programs, using sales forecastsEstablish and prepare product construction files in accordance with composition card/BOMs.Analyze and evaluate department performance each month and send evaluation report to HR Dept. Train department employees about planning role in supply chain field.Make interview with new candidates / job seekers and choose best candidates to assign empty planning jobs.Contact department members, discuss problems and check ways to solve it. Local Purchasing Specialist Responsibilities: Follow monthly cash budget according to purchasing plan.Manage local purchasing requests from all factory departments(raw material,none in-house produced finished products…etc).Inquire prices from suppliers in case of new items.Follow up PO’s from door to door.Approved PO.Send PO to primary suppliers.Follow up order delaying.Organize payment issues with Finance.Search for new suppliers.Co operate with suppliers if requested to solve any problems.Continuous local suppliers evaluation.Granting new local suppliers’ per-qualification
