Operations Officer of a forward-based contracting battalion consisting of two contracting detachments, a headquarter section, one permanent forward deployment contracting elements, and a Regional Contracting Office. Responsible for advising the Battalion Commander on internal operations and contracting support planning that provides contracting support to the USAREUR-AF, V Corps, 21st TSC, Joint Multinational Training Command, USAG Bavaria, and USAG Ansbach supporting over 45,000 Soldiers, DA Civilians, and Logical Nationals throughout USAREUR-AFs Bavaria and Franconia Military Communities. Ensures that all subordinate contracting detachments are trained and deployable to provide relevant and ready expeditionary contracting support to the Army and Joint Force Commands worldwide. Supervisors of the battalion current operations, future contract support planning, and all forward operations.

Serves as the battalion's Contracting Support Operations Officer In Charge. Focuses on policy, field support, and assessment. Monitors applicable contracting policy, ensuring subordinate units maintain currency through policy updates, and through metrics management and reporting. Oversees subordinate unit's contract administration, in areas of quality assurance, property administration and contract closeout. Coordinates supported unit field ordering officer, government purchase card, and contracting officer's representative management programs as well as providing training and advisory support to any other specially authorized, mission-specific programs, such as the Commander's Emergency Response Program as seen in recent operations. Externally focused on planning and synchronization of contracting effects with supported divisional operations. Contracting effects are the operational contracting organizations and capabilities that provide identification, integration, and synchronization of commercial support within the Europe area of responsibility that enable execution, sustainment, and prolonged endurance of military operations.

Serves as the 410th Contracting Support Brigade (CSB) Operations Officer in Charge in support of the US Southern Command Area of Responsibility in Central and South America; responsible for planning and coordinating internal personnel, logistics, security, and communication matters required to support and sustain the CSB headquarters and all assigned and attached subordinate units; Prepares, coordinates, authenticates, and publishes brigade plans and orders; maintain visibility of all current CSB operations, coordinating movement, and time phase forces deployment data; responsible for developing and promulgating command internal standard operating procedures, exercise guidance, coordinates contract administration service, collects and manages all procurement metric, and submits internal and external reports.

Serves as the Regional Contracting Office Director in Guantanamo Bay (GTMO), Cuba. Plans and executes pre-award, post-award, and Contract Administration Services (CAS) contract support for garrison contracting office mission and for deployed joint forces (US Southern Command/US Army South/US Special Operations Command - South/Joint Task Force -GTMO) in the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility; serves as a primary advisor to supported mission commanders' operational contract support responsibilities for theater security, counter-narcotics/crime, partner capacity building, and humanitarian assistance missions. Responsible for operationalizing contracting by advising supported commanders based upon an understanding of local business and industry practices on the availability, location, and condition of commercial supplies and services; fiscal and contract law; Federal, Defense, and Army acquisition regulations and procurement policy; coordinates with external organizations for resolution of contractual problems and issues. Responsible for the health, welfare, and morale of three Service Members.

Battalion Operations Officer In Charge and Senior Infantry Advisor of a Training Support Battalion responsible for preparing, coordinating, authenticating and publishing battalion plans and orders; recommending priorities for the allocation of critical resources; and identifying training requirements based on the operation, mission and readiness of the unit. Advises the Commander on all matters pertaining to the manning, equipping and training of approximately 2400 Army Reserve and Army National Guard Soldiers located on Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands (CNMI). Also responsible for coordinating pre/post mobilization training for Overseas Contingency Operations in the Pacific area of responsibility and around the world, priority Army Sustainable Readiness Model training, and Training Readiness Assessments for Reserve and National Guard units located throughout Guam and CNMI.

Commander of a 230-Soldier Airborne Infantry Headquarters Company capable of deploying anywhere within the United States European Command, United States Africa Command, or United States Central Command area of responsibility. Responsible for the training and tactical employment of the company in full spectrum operations; responsible for creating a cohesive combat team through aggressive training by clearly communicating intent for one scout platoon, one mortar platoon, one medical platoon, one headquarters platoon, and battalion staff. Develops, implements, and supervises training, operations, administration, and logistics of the company. Focused on preparing for combat, caring for Soldiers and their Families, and maintaining equipment while developing future adaptive leaders for the Army. Responsible for the accountability and maintenance of weapons and equipment worth in excess of $85 million dollars.

Plans Officer in Charge for a Parachute Infantry Battalion forward deployed to Vicenza, Italy as part of the 173rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne) consisting of over 808 Paratroopers to include a Headquarters Company, three Rifle Companies, a Heavy Weapons Company and a Forward Support Company, with the requirement to rapidly deploy in support of US European Command, US Africa Command, and US Central Command. Responsible for planning and resourcing all Battalion and Company level training in a non-deployed environment. Responsible for the coordination and employment of all attached enablers. Served as the liaison for allied nations that facilitated combined training and operations across Europe, Africa, and Middle East.

Logistics Officer for an 816-man Airborne Infantry Battalion forward deployed in Vicenza, Italy as part of the 173rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne) supporting missions in Europe and Middle East. Responsible for all aspects of combat service support within the battalion in support of three Airborne Infantry Companies, one Weapons Company, one Forward Support Company, and one Headquarters and Headquarters Company. Manages the battalion operational budget of over $5.2 million. Responsible for the acquisition and fielding of new equipment, as well as the disposition of excess equipment. Plans, synchronizes, and maximizes all logistical resources in garrison, training, and combat to include transportation.
