Hello my name is Michael Almeida, I have graduated and obtained my Juris Doctor from the University of Southampton as well as a degree from the University of Guelph Humber in Justice Studies. Over my studies I have participated in a Co-op program with Gilbert Barristers & Solicitors gaining valuable legal as well as office experience. During my time at the University of Southampton I was granted the opportunity to complete research tasks for firms in Canada as well as participate in the student run legal clinic. During the participation in these projects, alongside colleagues we were able to address cases in the realm of contract and criminal law. I am in the process of obtaining my NCA accreditation to be qualified to be called to the Bar in Ontario. Currently looked to obtain connections in the legal field hoping to find future articling positions for the 2025 year.
