CurrentIn this role I supervise, mentor, and evaluate team of Financial Analysts. I serve as finance lead on corporate development initiatives, including financial modeling, market/industry research, and due diligence. I am tasked with the facilitation of monthly financial review meetings with business units, and I work on ad-hoc special projects as requested by CFO, CEO, and Division Presidents. I steer key strategy projects and manage project plans, recommendations, impact, and delivery, and I stay updated on customers, competitors, partners, business models, market sizing, and industry trends. ***Value Added***✔ Played key role in Hughes Communications acquisition in 2011, 2 spin-off sales of assets from EchoStar to Dish Network in 2017 & 2019, and wholesale sales agreement with AT&T, which co-branded with Dish TV service.✔ Developed and delivered corporate reports, monthly financial executive packages, KPI reports, audit committee materials, and Board of Directors presentations.✔ Directed annual budgeting, variance analysis, financial reporting, asset valuations, and monthly/quarter/annual forecasting. ✔ Steered financial modeling for all of company’s major new products and service lines expansions throughout tenure.✔ Drove development and roll-out of Hyperion Planning ERP system for budgeting, reporting, and forecasting.✔ Leveraged expertise of merger and acquisition (M&A) processes and market landscape analyses to provide guidance to business partners to inform decision-making.✔ Recognized with Distinguished Service Award in 2012 and Team Award in 2019 for support on corporate spin-off sale.
