I'm currently participating in the World Wide Technology Associate Consulting Systems Engineer Training Program. Through this program, I'm pursuing industry standard and vendor specific certifications, as well as developing soft skills in the area of sales and planning to leverage my prior experience with a wide array of technology and take my career to the next level.

As an Associate Project Engineer at WWT, I leveraged my previous technical experience in the lab and started taking a more hands-on role in the planning and problem solving that managing a program in active production requires. I developed further skills and expertise in the areas of data center integration and rack & stack best practices, as well as honing skills relating to client interaction.

During this time with World Wide Technology, I was responsible for technician level configuration of device separates including desktops, laptops, network hardware, servers, mobile devices, and more. On occasions I stepped up and took on roles and responsibilities that were more in line with project management / project engineering and would coordinate with customers and a wide range of other team members to provide updates on programs I was working at the time.

The Production Lead position at the Wildey is a management position that entails a wide variety of tasks such as graphic design, videography, live event photography, scheduling of staff and events, event research and booking, stage lighting and live sound, hospitality needs for artists, contract review, communication with movie studios, other staff, artists and support companies, and management of part time production staff members. The full time staff members at the theater are expected to be ready to handle anything that might come up which needs to be addressed for the production as quickly as possible with as little guidance as necessary.

ECTV is a municipally operated cable access channel that primarily filmed city and school board meetings, concerts at schools and parks, and sports at the high school and university levels. I was responsible for transport and setup of equipment, filming the event, editing the footage and producing a copy for air. Additional duties included programming content to air and equipment research and maintenance. I was personally responsible for increasing the quality standards during my time in ECTV, pushing for upgraded cameras, multiple cameras on every shoot, and better editing software.

I was responsible for operation of a photofinishing lab at a branch location where I had to be able to prioritize workload, troubleshoot problems, and maintain exceptional quality standards without direct management during the day. I also had to maintain sufficient knowledge about the company's product lines and services to be able to assist with sales on an as-needed basis.
