Served as the principal advisor to executive and C-suite leaders for Cyberspace, Electromagnetic Warfare, Information and Space based operations across a large dynamic organization. Managed a combined budget of over $750,000; reviewed, resourced, and approved systems acquisitions and individual and collective training requirements for Electronic Warfare and Multidomain Operations personnel for the Division. Directed the reorganization of several disparate work cells into a cross-functional team, resulting in more agile and integrated non-kinetic effects support for Division and Brigade operations. Serves as the Senior Cyber and Electronic Warfare officer for an Infantry division of six Brigades and nearly 20,000 personnel.

Served as the lead cyber and electromagnetic warfare operations instructor and curriculum developer for a post-graduate level institution graduating over 1000 students each year. Advisor for the training, education, mentorship, welfare, and academic evaluation of 16 students per year. Additionally served as the course manager and lead instructor for the Cyber Operations and Cybersecurity curriculum delivered to over 100 students a year. Led a complete overhaul of the cyber and electromagnetic warfare curriculum, incorporating new capabilities, doctrine and threat actor tactics to ensure future military leaders are prepared to employ and defend against emerging capabilities.

Served as the deputy director of ARCYBER’s Cyber Tactical Operations Center tasked with the detailed planning, development, and execution of offensive cyberspace effects operations in support of U.S National interests and Combatant Command priorities. Provided cyber expertise on the development and approval of concept of operations and capabilities in support of deliberate and crisis action planning for Army cyber and US Cyber Command operations. Worked with multi-service and inter-agency partners to develop, refine, and streamline operational processes to improve efficiency, expedite the approval of effects operations, and ensure legal and regulatory compliance with Federal laws and regulations. Presented briefings to senior Army and Department of Defense leaders to facilitate their understanding of the complexities of cyberspace; enabled leaders to adapt plans, reallocate resources, and make timely risk-based decisions.

Led a defensive cyberspace mission team of 39 personnel conducting planning, vulnerability assessment, compliance auditing, threat hunting and mitigation operations in support of Department of Defense and U.S. Cyber Command priorities and initiatives. Planned and executed dozens of defensive cyberspace operations and assessments to identify and mitigate cyber vulnerabilities and threat hunting operations in DoD infrastructure and enterprise networks; worked collaboratively with local cybersecurity personnel to develop and implement mitigation plans; briefed findings and recommendations to senior Defense Department leadershipLed one of the first of over 100 Cyber Mission Forces teams to complete train-up and pass individual & multiple team-level certification exercises; established processes and procedures that became the standard for vulnerability assessment and threat hunting missions across the organization and Army cyber enterprise. Oversaw the training, development, readiness, and morale of 39 personnel; ensured compliance with federal and organizational requirements and standards.

Served as a Blue Team and Red Team Leader for the Army’s Information Operations Vulnerability Assessment Team. Conducted dozens of world-wide, full spectrum IO assessments of Army, Joint and Combatant Commands. Planned and coordinated team administrative logistics, pre-deployment and redeployment actives; assisted supported organizations in improving their security posture by identifying vulnerabilities in the organization’s Cyber Security Defense, Information Assurance and Compliance, Operations Security, Electronic Warfare, Physical Security and Social Engineering defenses. Ensured organizations are in compliance with the Department of Defense, Department of the Army and Federal directives and policies. Developed recommendations for the remediation of identified vulnerabilities by producing detailed written reports to assist C-suite leaders and their staff to improve their overall security posture to protect critical information and networks.

Served in a combat engineer battalion, advising the commander on issues pertaining to all communication networks and information services. Led the engineering, installation, management, service and restoration of tactical communications; FM and Blue Force Tracker; responsible to detect, isolate and resolve communication networks, systems and application faults; responsible for administration and optimization of network, network management, information assurance and information dissemination management. Operated as the local network and security administrator as well as the Information Assurance Manager (IAM) for the Battalion. Served as a voting member on the commutations infrastructure board for COB Speicher; assisted in the planning, management and engineering of the expansion of the fiber optic infrastructure for the base. Responsible for the health, welfare, training and morale of the BN S6 shop consisting of ten Soldiers.

Assistant Brigade Signal Officer for a 4,000 Soldier Sustainment (Logistics) Brigade. Directly responsible for the operation and management of 12 geographically dispersed Commercial Satellite communication networks providing critical communications to battalion and company headquarters. Planned and managed installation of the communications for the Brigade Tactical Operations Center consisting of ground to satellite digital communication systems, voice switching system, and line-of-sight (LOS) systems including: JNN, SMART-T, Small EXT Node, and LOS (V)1 and (V)3. Managed the Brigade help desk and processed over 1,500 trouble tickets in a 12 month period.

Managed one of 5 operational Defense Information Systems Agency's (DISA) Strategic Tactical Entry Point (STEP) sites and 3 geographically dispersed Army communication and information service technical control facilities throughout Kuwait. The STEP site provided the telecommunication backbone of all networks in Southwest Asia and the Central Command Area of Responsibility. Responsible for the planning, coordination and oversight of all strategic communications networking and infrastructure projects on Camp Arifjan and the southern camps of Kuwait. Managed and supervised 251 civilian contractors and 11 Soldiers. Accountable for over $56 million worth of equipment.
