Evangelium Vitae), promuovendo il rispetto integro di ogni persona umana dal concepimento fino alla morte naturale e favorendo il dialogo tra le culture e le religioni.Le finalità specifiche della Facoltà sono: la ricerca interdisciplinare delle questioni bioetiche (in ambito biologico, medico, giuridico, socio-politico, ecologico, ecc.), soprattutto di quelle relative alla vita umana; l’insegnamento a livello universitario della bioetica, in piena conformità al Magistero della Chiesa, con lo scopo di preparare esperti in questa disciplina, principalmente tra operatori sanitari, agenti della pastorale, educatori, comunicatori, giuristi e politici; favorire un’ampia divulgazione della cultura della vita e della bioetica personalista, soprattutto attraverso pubblicazioni, congressi e interventi nei mezzi di comunicazione sociale. La Facoltà di Bioetica offre i tre cicli formativi universitari: baccalaureato, licenza e dottorato e un Diploma di Perfezionamento in Bioetica. Inoltre, organizza durante il periodo estivo, un corso internazionale di alto perfezionamento.

What is the Catholic Worldview Fellowship?A month-long Summer experience for talented college students who desire to evangelize culture. The Catholic Worldview Fellowship seeks to contemplate reality from the standpoint of Faith. Therefore, the course aims to provide a life changing experience where students see one’s life and future through the lens of the Catholic faith. Fellows will spend three weeks at Schloss Wissen, a picturesque castle in the German Rhineland with origins dating back to the 14th century and one week in Rome, the epicenter of Catholicism.All these aspects of the Fellowship are harmonized to create a unique, life changing experience of the Catholic Worldview that empowers students to discover and develop their God-given talents. Fellows form a community that is enriched by a diversity of backgrounds and is united through common Christian convictions. Fellows will have opportunities for learning, thinking and contemplation during the month. They will address a variety of issues relating to personal, professional and social life and find creative responses in light of the Catholic Worldview. In so doing, they will form lasting friendships and form a network that will lend support for the future.The Fellowship is built upon 4 major areas of formation: academic, leadership, cultural and spiritual.

Christendom students who take part in the Semester in Rome are not enrolled in another college for the 3-month semester, rather, they are taught and supervised by Christendom College faculty and staff.
