About Michael Bailey

Drawing from experience in field ecology, outdoor education, and plant nurseries, building resilient ecosystems has been my professional focus since my first nursery job in 2010. I have studied under professionals across the country in fields including research, natural resource evaluation, environmental policy, and ecological sustainability. Currently, I am focusing on habitat restoration and public education in the Puget Sound area. I have completed the UW Wetland Science and Management Certificate Program, and am a Certified Ecological Restoration Practitioner through the Society of Ecological Restoration. I'm always seeking opportunities to advance my knowledge and skills in natural resources assessment and restoration practices to equitably improve the health of the Puget Sound landscape and the communities therein.
