Rov Pilot Technician
CurrentOceaneering, Pilot/Technician 3 operating work class ROV’s• Completed Oceaneering 6 week ROV training course.• Experience on construction and drill support operations.• Multiple launch and recovery of ROV from vessel.• Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance carried out on ROV including multiple tether re-terms and pre/post dive checks.• Exiting and entering ROV cage and flying to work site without supervision. 29 Hours flying work class ROV.• Multiple hours navigating as co-pilot. 80+ hours.• Complete mobilisation and de-mobilisation of ROV system, including control vans, winch, HPU, A-frame.• ROV competency book.• Experience working as part of a crew on various shift patterns.Job experienceJan 22nd - present: Drill support with work class ROV onboard Lewek Aries DP2 drill support vessel for SHELL/PETRONAS in Brunei. • Carried out Glycol injections with single port hot stab• Bulls eye readings• latch/unlatch of BOP• Recovery of Array frames and post well survey Job experience continuedAug 4th – 10th October: Construction job with work class ROV onboard Hallin Kendal DP2 dive support vessel as part of the McDermott construction job in the Kikeh oil field, Labuan, Malaysia. • Full mobilisation of ROV system• Pipe laying construction job working in conjunction with McDermott lay vessel 105• Pre pipe lay survey carried out with side scan sonar• Landing of USBL array frames and setting of marker buoys• Assisted in the lay of the 5km flexible pipe where requested• Post job carried out ‘pigging’ of flexible pipe and 24hour hydro test with 3 port hot stab and Baker Hughes hydro test unit• Recovery of array frames and marker buoys and post job survey of area• Full de-mobilisation of ROV system
