Forming the Mysteries School came through personal contact with Maya Elders in Guatemala & Mexico over a period of 25 years . I believe we are living in a time when we can effect massive and positive changes for the betterment of all life on earth by grasping the fundamentals of sustainability shown us by indigenous people living close to the earth.In a positive initiative to help bring about this about, I and my wife were asked to form this "Mystery school" by Maya Elders.The Mystery School concept goes back to Pythagorean times, marrying the every day with the spiritual a movement that also began in Celtic Christianity times before Rome took it overThe Mystery School is interfaith and provides, individual guidance, links with regular meditation, holds rites of passage and initiation. We practice heart love in our work, including to the food we grow because the sacred is in the everyday.We have close ties with the Findhorn Foundation, being Resource People for the Foundation in Spain. In my daily life path I follow Buddhist principles although would not call myself a Buddhist

As co-founder with my first wife and two other persons, Old Hall community began in 1973 but did not become fully fledged till 1974.It was and still is an intentional land based community farming organically with eco - sustainability as the principle by which to live.It was also an experiment in social living, sharing and cooperation. Decision making by consensus.12 families and 3 singles were the originators and this fluctuated over the years but has remained around 29 to 36 persons.I continued to live there until my departure for a more challenging environment in Spain during 2002
