As a Board Director I am part of the leadership team responsible for governance and operations of the MEAA. I sit on the Finance and Risk Management committee, and as an active member of the National Performers Committee, and deeply committed to improving the landscape of the Australian performing arts industry.

I was responsible for the leadership of the Queensland Equity committee developed strategies and led campaigns that were important for members and industry. An active member of the National Performers Committee, I gave national voice to Queensland issues, and represented our industry on the Animation Committee, Screen Committee, and the Intimacy Committee. Working successfully with industry to negotiate a new Australian Television Repeats and Residuals Agreement, and driving awareness for the importance of Australian and Children's content were amongst my achievements. I consulted with state and federal government regarding the response and management of the COVID19 Pandemic. I am most proud of leading change in the makeup of the committee, bringing representation of a new era of membership, including diverse artforms, performers and sectors.

Engaged as a Teaching Artist to deliver Secondary Drama education, I developed curriculum and lessons for children in middle to late secondary school. With a focus on craft and confidence, the training was focused on practical skills relating to presenting and acting on camera.

Working in Australian Content with TEN has afforded me the opportunity to be creatively involved in over 440 episodes of nationally broadcast TV. I am also proud of multiple full length documentaries I was able to narrate and collaborate on. As a presenter, performer, creative producer and musician, I have been part of a small and dedicated team who prioritized Australian stories and characters on screen. Integrity of content and crafting well-told story was our focus, and despite budget efficiencies and short pipelines, we delivered above expectation with these programs.

Having joined the team as a presenter for a short contract following the passing of Australian icon Steve Irwin, I was engaged on a longer term as lead presenter. As part of a strategic restructure, I took over the leadership of the Entertainment team; driving daily entertainment logistics with one of the world's most iconic Zoos. This role had an incredibly wide scope, and I worked closely with a variety of stakeholders including a team of technicians, performers, wildlife handlers and marketing and communications professionals . From small educational animal presentations, to epic grand-scale productions in the 5000-seat Crocoseum, I was responsible for story creation, production design, performance direction/coaching and delivery of event-specific performances. I led the development of a number of digital content brands during a time where 'streaming video' was in its infancy. With shows being seen live and online by millions of visitors each year, I am most proud of the impact of the work we made - helping to raise awareness for wildlife and wilderness conservation. During this time I was also fortunate to be a part of the visitation team that hosted VIP guests; I was responsible for sharing the Zoo with many celebrities and important guests including Sir David Attenborough.
