Currently, my roles include the following:1. The layout and organization of the shop floor utilizing value stream mapping, 5S and other lean tools regularly using my own desk as an example. 2. Connecting the company with information from its exiting systems and pushing data drive decision making using Crystal report and Microsoft SQL server, ultimately teaching myself SQL.3. Working with a team on continuous improvement projects with a simply stated goal of making things more efficient.4. Supporting production by managing various machined components.From 2/14/2014 – 8/31/2014, I became the sole move manager, and 100 percent of my time was dedicated to the move.From 7/1/2013 – 2/13/2014, I continued to support production while organizing the move of two facilities (totaling approximately 40,333 SQ.FT.) which included about 75 major pieces of equipment primarily composing of mills and lathes. Included in my responsibilities was the layout of the new 78,210 SQ.FT. facility.From 9/26/2012 – 6/30/2013, I supported production as a project engineer managing the production of various machined components. During this time I familiarized myself with the products, processes, and people which helped with transitioned of my responsibilities to move manager.

I work for the industrial and systems engineering departement. I instruct students in the laboratory section of an introductory ISE course. This course focuses on probability and statistics for engineers. I create lab assignments, software manuals, present lecture, and grade assignments. The course currently uses Tecnomatix Plant Simulation 9.0.

Selected to assist a professor from the institute with their work involving the adoption of lean concepts and practices into the K-12 and higher education systems. I assisted with statistical analysis, publications, literature review, and web-based surveys.

Instructor for the sheet metal stamping learing center. I was selected to provide training for the sessions on statistical process control, and lean priciples and production systems.

Worked for the quality department on a project to reduce sheet metal variation. Provided instruction for proper control charting.

Warren Truck Assembly Plant

Started in zone 5 chassis with 25 employees. Then, moved to zone 2 chassis with 41 employees. Zone 2 chassis was a pilot zone for smart (lean based manufacturing).
