As a fire and emergency service professional, I have had the privilege to serve in the capacity of a firefighter, paramedic, urban search and rescue specialist, educator, command officer, and leader. My experiences are vast, from being an operator on incident scenes to commanding and controlling multi-agency large scale incidents. I continue to stay relevant and contemporary in fire and emergency services as a graduate of the National Fire Academy's Executive Fire Officer Program, by being credentialed as a Chief Fire Officer by the Center for Public Safety Excellence, and by being a contributor to Fire Engineering Magazine. My professional goal is to continue to train and prepare the next generation of fire and emergency service providers, continue to develop my leadership skills and experiences as a provider of emergency services and as a fire officer, and to continue to market the fire and emergency service to city/county administrators as well as state and federal decision makers. The future is bright for fire and emergency services and I am excited to be part of this noble profession.
