I joined the AG industry at 20 years old with no experience in the business and fell in love with it. I have a remarkable aptitude to take difficult tasks and complete them successfully – whether it’s finding a solution to a difficult LTL transportation scenario, or thinking quickly to turn a mistake made by a team member or myself into a solution that ultimately benefits the team and the customer. I give 100% on all tasks to be sure expectations are met 100% of the time.I enjoy analyzing data and processes to reveal potential deficiencies that can be eliminated through adjustments and implementation of new processes. I pay close attention to detail and have a proven ability to create new processes that increase efficiency, decrease cost, and increase revenue. I am successful in reviewing processes from all areas of a business - receiving, production, shipping, sales, and accounting.I am very computer literate and proficient in Famous, Microsoft Office, most internet commerce sites, and I am very intuitive with new programs. I understand information technology very well, and if I am unsure of something I will find a solution. I am learning something new every day.I have recently taking on the task of directing the Food Safety program for SM Jones. This requires me to manage employee responsibilities in regard to the SOP’s outlined in our food safety program, maintain records, review records to stay in compliance, administer training and conduct meetings, and answer customer inquiries regarding food safety.I continue to grow in the business and fall more in love with it as each day passes.
