About Michael Beers

I've always been creative, and for most of my life I have expressed that in the form of music. My passion for music led me to my former career as an audio engineer. Communicating with clients to get an understanding of their vision, and then coming up with a logical workflow that would allow them to achieve that vision opened my eyes to the creativity involved in problem solving. My main tool as an engineer was the computer and my curiosity led me to computer programming.I began teaching myself the basics of programming in various languages with online tutorials and books. Wanting to get a deeper understanding, I attended Tech Elevator, a coding bootcamp in Columbus, Ohio. After I graduated I took a full stack role that allowed me to grow my knowledge and get my hands in a lot of different areas of software development.
