Desalination System Operator and Commissioning Engineer

To operate and maintain on a daily basis the efficient running of a 1500 m3/day Reverse Osmosis Desalination System. Tasks include determining water chemistry to evaluate chemical addition, understanding of seawater biology for the prevention of mollusc contamination, maximising the efficiency and quality of advance media filtration and ensuring the potable water produced by the Reverse Osmosis System is remineralised in accordance with WHO and local authority standards.

To oversee and recommend system operation parameters and improvements for a Effluent Treatment and Recycle System within the textile industry. Tasks include sample testing for efficient flocculation and coagulation, maximising the performance of a DAF System to ensure water standards suitable for post treatment by media filtration, ultra filtration and Reverse Osmosis.
