Over 34 years of military service as an Army Logistics Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces. I have extensive international experience serving in overseas assignments for one third of my career. Most recently as Deputy Canadian Defence Attache in Warsaw, Poland but also accredited to the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. I worked closely with Embassy Trade Commissions and host nation Ministry of Defence Procurement Managers to introduce Canadian companies to the Central and Eastern European Defence markets. Most recently, I worked in the Strategic Joint Staff at National Defence Headquarters in Ottawa as the lead for bilateral negotiations of mutual logistic support agreements with NATO and Partner Nations. The core experience for much of my career has been in transportation and movements. I have had the privilege to serve as an Exchange Officer for three years with the US Army's 1st Theatre Movement Control Agency in Kaiserslautern, Germany as a Movement Planning Officer. I've also had the honour to serve for three years, again in an Exchange role, as Operations Major with 29 Regiment, The Royal Logistics Corps in South Cerney, Gloucestershire, United Kingdom. I am currently in transition from the Canadian Armed Forces and seeking an opportunity to best leverage my knowledge and experience of international logistics.
