I am a calm, confident and disciplined problem-solver with over 30 years of experience in insurance regulation, politics and government affairs. I served in a variety of positions in Vermont state government including as Commissioner of Banking and Insurance, Commissioner of Labor and Industry and Deputy Secretary of Administration. After government I worked on regulatory and ACA compliance matters for a national health insurance agency. I now serve as Chief of Staff for NTG Consultants, the nation’s premier choice for insurance industry and life sciences representation. In that role I direct a nationwide team of seasoned compliance and government relations professionals. We solve regulatory problems and help our clients interface with state insurance departments and CMS. I am a frequent flyer to major insurance regulatory conferences, including NAIC and NCOIL national meetings. My broad range of experience has given me exposure to the good, the bad and the ugly in the insurance and life sciences industries.
