I started my own accountancy practice with a desire to use my knowledge and skills to help business owners who are confused and frustrated achieving their goals and ensuring that their taxes and finances are taken care of. Starting in business can be an anxious and nervous time for new business owners and directors, as many move from the "safety net" of having a paid job, where their tax and finances are dealt with, to having to deal with things themselves. I am aiming to help new and start up businesses get on the right track by helping them start in the most tax efficient manner and how to use their numbers to help grow their business and achieve their goals.For more established businesses, they tend to have developed a profitable business, but are keen to ensure that they are working tax efficiently. In addition, making their numbers work for their business tend to be a major concern and my aim is to take that pressure off them so they can focus on doing what they do best -running their business. Of course, if they wish to grow and develop their business, I can also provide a wider range tools and advice to help them achieve their vision.

Providing proactive tax advice to clients to help them save on tax and supporting both the business and the owner through forward thinking financial and business advice. We help clients by saving them money, making them aware of what they can claim for, whilst giving them peace of mind that their financial affairs are kept up to date. In addition to one- to- one meetings an advice, we also run a series of workshops throughout the year to ensure that people are kept informed of the latest tax and financial changes.

Responsible for a portfolio of clients and business development, client meetings, tax and business planning and business structures. I have also assisted clients with funding options, preparation of cash flow and projections in order to meet lender's requirements. I also present at each of the practice's client workshops, which are held on a regular basis. I network extensively and am also responsible for acquiring new clients through sales and marketing initiatives.

Responsible for development of JCI in Harrogate, overseeing training events, international networking and social events/business evenings and community events and visits for young professionals in the area. leadership of a team of 6 in membership, personal development, marketing, social events, business and community. Dealing with businesses in the town to recruit members and encourage corporate sponsorship/patronage.
