As a Workshop Manager, I oversee and manage all workshop jobs including labour allocation/scheduling, inspection, identification, parts interpretation and ordering, testing and completion. I monitor all work performed by subordinates to ensure the jobs are being completed accurately, safely and promptly while working as part of a team. I completed and sustained ISO-9001 accreditation as a committee member and assisted the Operations Manager with the development and implementation of management systems reports that were consistent with the requirements of ISO-9001. I have successfully project managed the following projects:Rapid Wall Building Systems x 2- $1.1M 2011-2012• Torque Industries won a contract to build machinery for Rapid Wall Systems. This project involved all types of engineering from machining, fabrication, painting, fitting including Hydraulic systems to use on the main assembly. Interpreted engineering drawings and created sub-assemblies and sourced material. Partly completed in-house and predominantly outsourced. Supervised subcontractors, kept production moving and minimised risks and poor quality. Narrakine Hay Plant & Gilmac Hay Plant WA 2014 & 2016• Managed the fabrication and assembly of the primary platform and employed Engineering Manager to manage the Engineering Department that comprised of a Project Manager and Draft people. Arranged materials with the assistance of a Purchasing Officer and assembled hydraulic systems as per engineers drawing and framework. Disassembled and arranged freight to the client in WA.

Dry Creek

I supervised and managed eight workshop staff fitting of hydraulic systems on waste equipment including Baling machines and front loaders inspecting each process to ensure accurate completion of each tasks. I planned and oversaw the day-to-day operations of the workshop including new and finished jobs, attending to servicing jobs and breakdown calls. Before we organised the delivery of completed jobs, I would undertake a final inspection and analysis to ensure it met the quality and safety standards.

During my time I fabricated specialised stainless steel exhaust systems including mufflers and bellows and installed these systems within the workshop and on mobile sites.
