I am currently working as a Medical Records Retrieval Specialist at CareFirst.I have over 10 years of combined administrative and customer relations experience which I feel will be an asset. I am an enthusiastic and energetic individual that enjoys learning while in new environments. I have worked closely with the store owners of David and Dads, medical professionals and mid-level providers at University of Maryland Medical Systems, the provost and several directors of Goucher College, and the CEO of Howard University Faculty Practice Plan to maintain in good standing with all governmental agencies required by law. In addition, I have led a staff of 3 to over 20 on a daily basis to complete tasks and achieve goals. I am also responsible for consistent workflow management. In my previous positions, I obtained stellar customer service skills that eventually allowed me the opportunity to explore management. I have proficient computer and interpersonal skills; a careful attention to detail; and an attitude that balances individual initiative with office teamwork. I also have a strong desire to one day achieve my own goal of earning a degree.
