-Utilize leadership and multi-tasking skills to effectively manage the daily operations of the delivery department, including the second-shift delivery team, and over 150 employees within multiple union groups-Conduct training seminars for efficiencies and overall safety culture for over 150 employees -Administer proper discipline when necessary to delivery drivers and helpers in accordance with the company’s work rules and corresponding union contracts-Monitor delivery fleet using Omnitracs and Roadnet Anywhere in order to handle and prevent any obstacles that may arise throughout the day; such as truck breakdowns, injuries, missed time windows and allocating driver to other areas-Organize and implement electronic login devices for drivers and work place seminars -Responsible for DOT compliance, including DOT safety requirements, DOT drug screening, and responsible for maintaining compliance with Department of Transportation regulations-Liaison between drivers, buyers, sales, customer service, routers, and warehouse personnel

-Responsible for all early morning delivery preparations -Working collaboratively with drivers, salespeople, customers, buyers, and warehouse personnel-Monitor and direct drivers -Assist Transportation Manager in other various duties

-Assisted delivery drivers in all aspects of their responsibilities with emphasis on safety and management-Worked directly with customers to ensure complete satisfaction-On occasion delivered product for Tenzing Wine & Spirits, assuming all professional responsibilities

-Assist with day-to-day warehouse activities such as conducting inventory on a monthly basis-Fulfilled special orders, transported parts around the Chicagoland area and prepared shipments on a daily basis-Formulate new warehouse procedures for cost efficiency
