I am a heavy machinery operator and have ten years experience within the mining industry. Most of my experience has been in hard rock mining, extracting minerals such as gold, copper and zinc in projects throughout western Qld.Some of my skills include emergency response training, work place health and safety training, s1,2,3 safety for supervisors, Icam investigation, cert 4 training and assessing.I am now working in the Bowen basin at millennium coal and have recently returned from America where I undertook an extensive electric rope shovel training program. The program ran for 2 months and consisted of productive dig methods, cable handiling and an in depth xpc 4100 ac drive machine break down. My training in Wyoming allowed me to work along side some very experienced miners in the powder river basin. I have learnt a lot from these men and women and am very gratefull to have had this opertunity.
