• Employed in 2006 by CCBill, part of CWIE LLC, a multi-million dollar turnover American company, whose company portfolio offers web hosting services, state of the art data center facilities, cloud computing and billing solutions. As part of the start-up team I was responsible for the recruitment of software developers, liaising with American colleagues for project handovers, designing development life cycles, implementing standards and procedures and planning the architectural vision for the projects at hand.• Successfully led various software development teams in building enterprise class applications for the e-commerce and hosting / data center markets. • Due to business exigencies successfully mentored and led a team of 10 developers through the conversion from C# to Java, within a short time frame. • Relentlessly worked to improve the technical skills set and levels of engagement of my teams through various processes and conventions leading to an unexpected level of excellence and proficiency in the projects that were undertaken.• Gained a wealth of experience throughout the successful management and completion of various products across various industries ranging from: Telecoms, IT, Pharmaceutical, Government Entities, Data Centers and E-Commerce.• Project Managed a number of high profile company ‘firsts’ projects including the consolidation of all our Hosting and Virtual Services under one service portal, a project spanning over 18 months, 60 personnel from various departments and spanning 3 time zones.• Managed the transition of our company’s software product development projects from a traditional waterfall model to SCRUM, integrating 4 traditional software development teams and 3 traditional quality assurance teams, achieving tangible delivery time-frame and content improvement metrics.
