Acoustic engineer in Vipac's Building, Infrastructure and Environment team. My role includes measuring, assessing, predicting and reporting noise levels from the built environment for local and state government authorities. I manage multiple projects simultaneously from a wide range of industries including mining, defence, construction and energy generation. I also have a deep understanding of the acoustics criteria within the Building Code of Australia and Greenstar rating system.

Swim school manager at one of Brisbane's largest aquatic centres where we have over 1400 students and a team of over 30 staff in our learn to swim program. Alongside my team of pool deck team leaders and other site managers, it's my job to:-Optimise classes and identify opportunities to grow the program and meet profit & loss targets.-Communicate and engage staff, learn to swim students and customers.-Manage staff rostering, hours and conduct performance reviews.-Recruiting, training and assessing new staff members.

Continuing my work as a swimming instructor, I have adapted my skills to a CVM and the Rackley Swimming program. In addition to coaching squads I've also been training and assessing new staff as the former swim school manager.

As a learn to swim instructor I am able to use my swimming knowledge and passion for learning to help students develop a life skill. I've learnt how to effectively communicate by being concise and engaging so that I'm able to share the knowledge I've developed over 12 years of competitive swimming. In my position, I'm often working in between classes helping other staff members. This role includes ensuring all the students in the pool are moving and engaged, assisting and learning from more experienced instructors and working with less experienced teachers, sharing my skills with them without taking over their class.

Experiencing, hands on, what engineers do at Australia’s largest producer of renewable energy. I spent time with the major works team where I was offsite at the Catagunya Power Station major refurbishment and in the workshop, working with Hydro’s most experienced machinists. In the asset strategy and risk team I also got to experience 8 yearly testing at Tungatinah Power Station.Finally, I spent time in the battery of the nation project analysing the biannual Integrated System Plan of the Australian power system by AEMO and putting together Hydro Tasmania’s response to the draft plan.

Working in a variety of roles for one of 13 student nations (societies) at the Uppsala University, in Sweden. This included front of house and work at their student bar and restaurant.

Worked a wide variety of events for various companies including McDonald's, at both North Melbourne and Hawthorn AFL games in Tasmania, and Cricket Australia where I was an event workforce team manager.

Casual fast food employee for Lost Pippin Cider and Lamb Baa at various food festivals around Tasmania. This includes the Taste of Tasmania 2016-17 and Street Eats Franklin (2017).
