Seven years experience in environmental science in the public sector, focused on groundwater research including sampling of groundwater sources in a variety of settings, both in the UK and abroad. Particular interests in groundwater sampling method development using innovative and novel techniques. Work has included creation of independent, publicly accessible datasets around on-shore oil and gas development as well as implementing and maintaining telemetered in-situ groundwater monitoring networks. Recent work includes development of a new hydrological monitoring network in an EU country, designing, installing and managing a drilling programme of groundwater monitoring boreholes and set up of a core archiving facility.Work undertaken for regulatory bodies including assessment of current monitoring networks and appraisals of hydrochemical sampling practices. Highly adept at data management and analysis including database creation and management, data manipulation and visualisation using R and ArcGIS.Project management experience for external clients including managing teams, budgets and deliverable (scientific and technical reports).Leader and organiser of environmental sampling campaigns.
