Michael Boyd is a part time real estate entrepreneur who strives to help homeowners in these challenging times. Recently, he has co-founded a startup company, MS Home Solutions, LLC, which focuses on the foreclosure process and helping individuals through this difficult process. Whether MS Home Solutions helps a homeowner refinance their home with the bank to keep their home, negotiate a short sale for the property to stop the foreclosure process, or invest in a Real-Estate Owned (REO) property and rehab the project for a new homeowner, the main goal of the company is to find the best solution for each homeowner’s situation. In the meantime, Michael works at Hi-Tech Industrial Services Inc. as a Project Manager, which is a premier supplier of industrial services including refractory, weld overlay, scaffolding, and insulation. At each site, he manages and oversees a crew of 40-100 people per shift and keeps an accurate cost and budget analysis of the job progression. To date he has worked on several Turnaround Projects including: Twin Oaks Power Plant in Bremond,Tx, ALCOA Plant in Port Lavaca, Tx, Ponca City Refinery for Conoco Phillips in Ponca City, Ok(now formerly Phillips 66), Citgo Refinery Plant in Lake Charles, LA, Exxon Mobil Refinery in Baytown, Tx, and Borger City Refinery for Phillips 66 in Borger, Tx. Previously, Michael worked for Schlumberger as a Cement Field Engineer for 2 ½ years. During his time he worked on oil rigs in the South Texas Region near Alice, San Antonio, Laredo, and Mission, Tx. Before he left the company, he was stationed in Midland, Tx as a Resource Manager and oversaw the daily operations of the Cement Division in South Texas.When Michael is not vigorously working at his profession, he can be found in some type of sports arena, whether it be at the gym, on the softball field, dribbling in indoor soccer, or even chasing a Frisbee down from an errant throw.
