I enlisted into the United States Army in 2000 as a 91B (Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic). I have held various leadership and technical positions throughout my career to include: - Shop Foreman - Responsible for maintaining oversight of all scheduled and unscheduled services of military equipment.- Maintenance Supervisor- Global Combat Supply System Army (GCSS-A) System manager - Drill Sergeant - lead 240 Civilians and trained them to be Soldiers in 9 weeks time.- First Sergeant - Responsible for the management of human resources, training, medical readiness, readiness of equipment and personnel, advisor to the commanding officer of the unit. Managed buildings and developed systems and programs to increase proficiency in administrative functions.-Senior Support Operations Manager- Responsible for managing a Brigade Size element (over 1,000 people with over 2.3 billions dollars of equipment) maintenance program; tracked internal and external maintenance for the 3rd Infantry Division. Consistently analyzes mission critical fleet for the United States Army and develop programs and systems to improve overall readiness of rolling and non-rolling stock. Currently manages about 2.3 million dollars worth of equipment and its serviceability. Use Global Combat Sustainment System Army to collect data and report deficiencies to all maintenance operations.7 Combat Deployments to different areas such as Iraq Afghanistan, Kuwait - Experience handling complex issues under pressure while maintaining professionalism and expertise in the area of Maintenance. - Conducted vehicle recovery missions in hostile environment and used expert judgement when reacting to pressure
