To truly know and understand me, one must look at important aspects of my life, the ongoing goals that I have set out to achieve and the underlying themes. #1 Appetite to Learn Voraciously and to Adapt Quickly: I value and understand the importance of continual development and learning especially as it helps in the adaptation to an increasingly competitive world where continuous improvement, quick adaptation and increasingly demanding customers threaten and / or create new business models and opportunities. #2 Curiosity & Strong International Exposure:I have valued traveling and living overseas or taking on stretch assignments in new functional areas for I have always found that a person is most challenged when they are taken out of their comfort zone. These experiences foster and hone creativity, adaptability and above all communication and stakeholder management skills. These skills are vital in leadership especially in a world that is facing new opportunities and threats and evolving at a faster rate than at any other point in human history. #3 Achievement and Invigoration by ChallengesThis is a common theme in my life; the desire to achieve things and to better myself no matter what the situation or challenge. Reflecting upon the path I have taken in life, I realize that what I have accomplished is both unique and meaningful in that each challenge, each risk that I have taken has taught me new skills and instilled within me new insights and perspectives.
