Prior to launching United Film and Media Productions in 2022, Michael E. Brown was a Partner and the Director of Operations at Digital Caviar, a boutique commercial production company that grew into one of the leading independent film production companies in the Greater Tampa Bay Area. In the commercial space, Michael has produced over seventy-five commercial videos earning multiple awards including two nationally recognized Telly Awards. In the feature film space, Michael has produced six feature films with an accumulative budget of over seven million dollars. Michael is also an independent contractor that performs Line Producing and Production Management services for larger tier films with budgets ranging between four million and nine million dollars each. During each project, Michael is hired to start, manage, and turn over a single purpose company that employs hundreds of people, spends millions of dollars in local communities, and ultimately delivers a movie on time and on budget. Prior to the commencement of Michael’s career in the commercial and film industry, Michael served for five years as an Aviation Electrician (AE) and Line Division Trouble Shooter in the United States Navy. He was honorably discharged in 2007. While attending AE school, Michael earned the highest GPA in his class. Within two years of graduating Michael quickly rose to the rank of E5 through hard work, a humble display of expert level knowledge in his field, and an innate ability to lead. Forward deployed when onboard the USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63), Michael played an integral role in helping his squadron maintain at flight completion rate above ninety seven percent.
