As the Vice President, Legal at Hain Celestial Group, a multinational CPG company (NASDAQ: HAIN) which produces food, beverage, and personal care products, I serve on the legal leadership team and oversee various ESG and litigation functions, as well as compliance, risk, crisis management, and employment. Additionally, I am a member of the Marketing Advisory Board, Baby Food Leadership Team, and the executive sponsor of Hain’s Mental Health ERG (Employee Resource Group).I joined Hain in 2018, leveraging my prior litigation and compliance experience from Seward and Kissel, where I represented public companies and financial institutions in civil and criminal litigation, including white-collar, complex securities, contract, and employment matters. I also built and evaluated compliance programs for hedge funds.I quickly increased my responsibilities at Hain, which have allowed me to develop strategies and solve problems across various subject matter areas, including taking responsibility for and building out the ESG function, developing an ESG culture throughout the global organization, hiring an ESG team, and leveraging relationships to increase stakeholder engagement.
