Ever since I took a Computer Science class in high school, I developed a passion for software development. Since then, I have worked on multiple projects that range from games like Minesweeper written in C++ to working on full-stack large-scale systems like Autograder for Computer Science at my University written in Django (Python) and React.js.My passion for the field led me to become a Computer Science major at the University of Florida, where I took courses that helped me further my knowledge in data structures, algorithm design, database design, computer organization, and programming language concepts, such as creating a lexor, parser and a compiler from the ground up. Outside of classes, I fulfill my passion for Computer Science by serving as a Technical Director for the SwampHacks, the biggest hackathon in Florida, where I developed a portal written in React.js and Node.js that students use to apply to the hackathon and submit their projects. In addition, I am on the UF Competitive Programming Team where I solve challenging computer science problems using my knowledge of data structures and algorithms.Last summer, I gained more knowledge of the Computer Science field and started my professional career by interning at Amazon, an opportunity for which I am very grateful.
