I have over 20 years of IT experience ranging across Government, Not-For-Profit and Managed Service Providers. In this time I have operated as the sole IT support for a number of 1000+ user institutions as well as part of larger teams supporting 400,000+ users.I have extensive experience in managing complex Windows environments, ranging from Windows 2000 up to 2016. This encompasses Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, NPS, RODCs, SCCM, MDT and WSUS.I am highly proficient in PowerShell with a heavy focus on highly scalable solutions and automation. I have experience working with stand-alone solutions as well as integrating with APIs. I also have experience creating solutions in C++, .Net (VB and C#), Python, SQL and Puppet.I have experience working with VMWare as well as both the Azure and AWS public cloud, and hold an AWS Professional certification.I am also competent across the CISCO network stack with additional experience with Fortigate NGFWs.I have acted as technical lead for multiple teams across SOE and Wintel and regularly engage with high level stakeholders. I have experience developing discussion papers, options papers, high and detailed level designs, solution architecture overviews and business proposals.I work regularly within the ITIL framework and have also completed Prince 2 foundation.
