Michael Cameron is a Registered Builder in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland, and has more than 30 years experience in the Building and Construction Industry.His journey in the building and construction industry started when he was a teenager, working much of his school holidays in the family construction business, Cameron Construction. By working alongside various trades and craftsmen, Michael attributes much of his foundational knowledge of the building industry to this early experience.Following the completion of year 12 and studies at La Trobe University, Michael took charge of a team of craftsmen, delivering high-quality timber stairs across Victoria. In just five years, the company, Melbourne Stairs, became one of the largest in the state and is still recognized today for its quality and exceptional service.After obtaining his Builders Registration, Michael returned to his father's business, eventually becoming the Managing Director. He has played a key role in numerous building projects across Australia, ranging from new homes, extensions, and renovations to larger scale multi-unit developments and commercial projects. Today, Michael is actively engaged in various organizations focused on delivering high-quality products to the housing and construction industries.Apart from his wealth of experience, Michael holds qualifications in both construction and management, including a Masters Degree in Business Administration from RMIT University in Melbourne. He is also a dedicated contributor to the industry, having served as a Councillor of the Master Builders’ Association for six years from 2010 to 2016.
