An Appliance Engineer is an individual who is well versed in the understanding of Information Technology and strategic business acumen. The role requires both a broad knowledge of converged networked environments, systems management, operational support and business systems. Appliance Engineers work with Linux, Apache, Mysql, MRTG, SNMP, and related technologies; as well as responsible for configurations on Cisco routers, switches, IPT and ICM devices.

A Utility Operator is a dedicated individual who performs various hands-on tasks required for the up-keep, maintenance, and operation of the power plant and its component equipment.

This position is responsible for operating and maintaining front-end loaders and other material handling equipment such as conveyors, re-claimers, disc screens, and truck dumpers. Equipment Operators also receive fuel deliveries, operating truck scales and preparing fuel samples. They are responsible for completing written logs and check sheets. Equipment Operators also perform routine and preventive maintenance, and assist in the repair and maintenance of equipment during outages.
