I'm currently a Project Manager at TxDOT. I oversee and inspect the installation of Traffic Signals and Lighting Systems for the Department. I also review plans and facilitate Contractor payment for work completed by the Contractor. My first 14 years at TxDOT, is where I learned to work on and maintain Traffic Signals and Roadway Lighting. For two of these 14 years, I oversaw the Lighting Maintenance Contract. This is where I learned about Traffic Signal Timings and Maintenance.
