I am a Locum Consultant in Paediatric Intensive Care Medicine at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. My paediatric intensive care medicine training was mainly in London (Imperial College London Healthcare, Evelina London Children's Hospital, St George's Hospital) from 2018–2023, and also included a period in Paris as a post-doctoral researcher at Hôpital Bicêtre, AP-HP from late 2022–2023. I am also a Research Associate at the University of Oxford and Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Imperial College London, where I have a particular focus on the the pathophysiology of childhood sepsis, and inflammation, and the epidemiology of respiratory infection. I have expertise in laboratory methods including mass cytometry, RNA-seq and bioinformatic interpretation of "big data" and epidemiological methods. My DPhil was in the host response to infection, with a particular focus on pneumococcal pneumonia in Nepal, with Prof Sir Andrew Pollard and Oxford Vaccine Group and colleagues at Oxford and Imperial College.
