Michael has over 25 years of investment, management and advisory experience serving in key leadership roles in well over 150 transactions totaling more than $3 billion in value. Michael’s experience includes serving as the CEO of an impact investing public company and leading investments in private equity, distressed debt, venture capital and several entrepreneurial ventures.Michael is an Attorney, Chartered Financial Analyst, Certified Public Accountant, Certified Turnaround Professional and holds the CFA’s advanced certificate in ESG Investing. Michael earned an MBA from the University of Michigan Business School, a JD from the University of Michigan Law School and a BA from Columbia University.While at Columbia, Michael was the Quarterback and Captain of the Lions Varsity Football Team and earned several academic and athletic awards, including Academic All-Ivy, Athletic All-Ivy, Team MVP, Columbia Offensive Player of the Decade and Ivy League Player of the Year Runner-Up. After Columbia, Michael played professional football in Europe for the Hamburg Blue Devils.
