Bromsgrove Station and Electrification Project (Current) - ~£50 million AFCAssisting in managing various aspects of this project.Birmingham Gateway Project- ~£750 million AFCSpent six months on this project prior to the opening of Birmingham New Street and Grand Central in September 2015I undertook an in depth exercise on the project to understand the lessons learned during the project life cycle as well as capture the best practice that had been developed in order to help benefit future major station projects. This involved organising and facilitating over 20 workshops on different topics with key members of the project to capture the relevant information and then collating this information into a concise reports which were reviewed and accepted by the project director.I also assisted in the collaborative planning of parts of the project delivery using visual management techniques to co-ordinate works happening in areas with up to 5 separate contractors working, ensuring the work was delivered to schedule.

I set up a committee in the West Midlands to organise networking and development events for young rail professionals in the region, as well as ambassador events where we promote the rail industry to the next generation in local schools and universities. As chairman I lead and manage a committee of around 10 which organise these events and ensure we deliver to an agreed set of objectives. We have so far delivered over 10 events to a regional membership of 150, which include site visits, talks from senior industry leaders and interactive workshops.I am also part of the national exec committee which ensures regional events are co-ordinated on a national level.
