Current- The project I worked on was a prototype that enabled people to locate their cars in the underground car park without GPS signal.Responsibilities:
- Designed an indoor navigation prototype using WLAN/Bluetooth and Inertial Navigation
- Tested the prototype at an underground car park and the accuracy was around 72%
- Analysed positioning data using Python and improved the accuracy using Machine Learning frameworks
- Wrote proposals and applied for grants and projects from both academia and industry
- Discussed with potential stakeholders to optimise the positioning algorithm
